Precautions and contraindications

The treatment is not for under-18s, for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for anyone currently wearing orthodontic braces. Crowns, veneers, bridges and composites do not lighten : their shade stays the same, which can create a contrast with the lightened natural teeth. If you have a cavity, painful or bleeding gums, receding gums or marked hypersensitivity, see your dentist first. Does teeth whitening damage enamel?

How many shades can I gain?

Does it hurt, or make teeth sensitive?

The vast majority of people feel nothing. Temporary sensitivity to hot and cold can appear over the first few days, especially if your teeth were already sensitive. Tell us before the session and the protocol is adapted.

What can I eat afterwards?

For the first few days the teeth are more porous and restain easily: avoid coffee, tea, red wine, dark fizzy drinks, tomato sauces, berries, curry and tobacco. Stick to pale foods — that is the “white diet”.

How long does the result last?

Several months as a rule, but it all depends on your lifestyle. A heavy coffee drinker or a smoker will restain much faster. An occasional maintenance session brings you back to the original level.
