Your data

Privacy policy

Courtesy translation

Only the French version of this privacy policy is binding. It is the version that applies under the GDPR and French data protection law; this English version is provided for information only.

This page explains what personal data is collected on this website, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights. It is written in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Who is the data controller?

LENA (trading as LIDA COIFFURE BEAUTÉ ESTHÉTIQUE), 61 rue de France, 06000 Nice, France. Contact: contact@lidaesthetiquenice.fr — 07 65 16 66 66.

What data is collected?

Only what you deliberately enter into the appointment request form: first and last name, phone number, and, if you fill them in, your email address, the treatment you would like, your preferred date and time, and the content of your message.

This site uses Google Ads advertising measurement cookies, so we can tell which ads bring in appointment requests. Nothing is stored until you have accepted : Google’s Consent Mode starts in the “denied” position, and only your agreement in the banner changes it.

Rejecting is as easy as accepting: the two buttons sit side by side, the same size and the same appearance. Your choice — whether you accept or reject — is kept for six months in your browser, after which you are asked again. You can change it at any time using the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

If you reject, no advertising identifier is sent to Google: all that remains is an anonymous, aggregate count of visits, with no profiling and no individual tracking.

How does the form work?

The form stores nothing on this website: no database is used. Two buttons, two routes, and you choose:

  • WhatsApp — your browser assembles the message and opens the app. Nothing passes through our server; you press send yourself.
  • Email — what you entered is sent to our server, which composes the message and forwards it straight to contact@lidaesthetiquenice.fr through our email provider. It is stored nowhere on the site: once the message has gone, the only copy left is the one in our inbox.

If you choose to send via WhatsApp, the transmission of your message is subject to the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, over which we have no control.

Why is this data processed?

  • Purpose: to contact you back in order to handle your appointment request.
  • Legal basis: your consent, given via the tick box on the form, and the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request.
  • Mandatory fields: your name and phone number are essential so we can call you back. The other fields are optional.

Who has access to your data?

Only the salon team. Your data is never sold, rented or passed on for commercial purposes.

How long is it kept?

Messages relating to an appointment request that did not go ahead are kept for a maximum of 12 months. Data linked to a treatment actually carried out is kept for as long as needed to manage the client relationship, then archived or deleted in line with the applicable legal obligations.

What are your rights?

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to contact@lidaesthetiquenice.fr or call 07 65 16 66 66. You will receive a reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.

Third-party services used on the site

  • Google Maps — the map on the Contact page is loaded from Google’s servers, which may set cookies and collect your IP address when the map loads.
  • WhatsApp — only if you deliberately click a WhatsApp button.
  • Hostinger International Ltd — the website host keeps technical connection logs (IP address, date and time, page requested) that are necessary for the security and proper operation of the server. It acts as a processor and uses this data for no other purpose.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris) — delivers the requests sent by email from the form, along with the acknowledgement you receive if you left your address. A French company, with data hosted in the European Union, acting as a processor. You are not signed up to any newsletter: your address is used solely to handle your request.

The fonts and all images are hosted on our own server: no request is made to a third-party CDN when pages load.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No payment card data is collected or processed by this website.
